My St. John's touring covered the general downtown area, (BP) Bannerman Park (public park with historic government buildings), (SH) Signal Hill (historic harbour fortification and also where the first transatlantic wireless signal in Morse code was received in 1901), and the (JGC) Johnson Geo Centre museum. For photos taken at the three specific sites, I begin their captions with a (BP), (SH), or (JGC) to indicate at which site they were taken.
